
Senior Data Scientist – Machine Learning, AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, develop, assess, and implement production machine learning models
• Create predictive models for customer churn, propensity, lead scoring, customer lifetime value, recommendations, forecasting, personalization, and marketing attribution
• Conduct statistical analyses, hypothesis testing, A/B testing, causal inference, and time-series analysis
• Construct feature engineering, model training, and inference pipelines
• Deploy and monitor machine learning models, focusing on model performance, drift detection, and retraining
• Utilize Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, and vector databases for business and customer applications
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Analytics, and leadership to convert business challenges into scalable data science solutions
• Guide junior data scientists and promote best practices for model development, documentation, and code quality
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field; Master's or PhD is preferred
• Over 5 years of relevant experience
• Proficient in Python and SQL
• Experience with production machine learning
• Background in predictive modeling
• Familiarity with model deployment
• Knowledge of MLOps
• Experience with cloud platforms
• Demonstrated ability to achieve measurable business outcomes through data science and machine learning
• Strong capabilities in communication, analytical thinking, and business problem-solving
• Experience with XGBoost, LightGBM, Random Forest, Neural Networks, and Deep Learning
• Understanding of regression, Bayesian methods, hypothesis testing, experimental design, causal inference, and time series
• Experience with Snowflake, dbt, Spark, and Airflow; GCP preferred, AWS or Azure considered
• Familiarity with MLflow, Kubeflow, Vertex AI, feature stores, CI/CD, and model monitoring
• Experience with OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, LangChain, LangGraph, RAG, embeddings, and vector databases
• Candidates must reside in the Continental U.S.
• Availability to support business hours from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM ET
• Experience with data quality and observability tools such as Great Expectations or Monte Carlo is advantageous
• Preferred experience with large-scale customer or behavioral data, marketing analytics, personalization, customer intelligence, SaaS, automotive, retail, advertising, marketing technology, real-time inference, streaming data, or production Generative AI applications
