This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Business Development, and various cross-functional teams to enhance systems that drive user engagement and revenue growth.
• Establish product strategy through the development of measurement frameworks, metrics design, experimentation, causal analyses, in-depth data analyses, and research.
• Generate actionable insights through observational causal analysis and experiment meta-analysis, effectively communicating recommendations to stakeholders, including C-suite executives.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and comprehensive analysis of A/B tests.
• Construct ETLs, tables, dashboards, and self-service data tools.
• Design, assess, and quantify team-level KPIs for quarterly objectives and impact demonstration.
• Involve stakeholders throughout projects to ensure alignment between data science initiatives and business goals.
• Guide junior data scientists and business partners in best practices and methodologies in data science.
• An advanced degree (Masters or Ph.D.) in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, or Operations Research.
• For M.S. holders: a minimum of 5 years of experience in applied science or data science roles within the industry.
• For Ph.D. holders: at least 4 years of experience in applied science or data science positions in the industry.
• Proficiency in querying relational databases using SQL.
• Strong programming skills in R and/or Python.
• Comprehensive understanding of online experimentation (A/B testing), causal inference, and statistical methodologies.
• Comfort working in dynamic and fast-paced settings with a proactive approach.
• Excellent technical communication and data storytelling abilities for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Capacity to address ambiguous and undefined challenges by formulating action plans, gathering feedback, and iterating on solutions.
