Senior Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and sustain reliable product data assets utilizing dbt, Snowflake, and contemporary analytics infrastructure.

• Utilize AI-driven analytics tools and data agents, such as Snowflake Cortex, to expedite insight generation and automate repetitive analyses.

• Establish and refine measurement frameworks for product health, customer lifecycle, and AI-driven product experiences.

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Design, and Customer Success teams to shape product strategy through data insights.

• Contribute to defining Vanta’s analytics strategy and practices for AI measurement.

• Lead executive analytics reviews and convert intricate analyses into concise recommendations that influence company decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience handling data as a Data Scientist, Product Analyst, or Analytics Engineer in a practical business environment.

• Robust foundation in SQL, Python (or R), statistics, and machine learning.

• Experience in designing and assessing experiments, predictive models, and statistical analyses for product-related decisions.

• Proven track record of building scalable data assets, metrics, and analytical frameworks on modern cloud data platforms like Snowflake and dbt.

• Extensive experience with data visualization.

• Familiarity with modern AI-assisted analytics tools or LLM-powered workflows.

• In-depth understanding of product analytics, customer behavior, and B2B SaaS growth metrics.

• Experience collaborating with Product, Engineering, Design, and Customer Success throughout the product lifecycle.

• Skill in translating vague business challenges into analytical frameworks and actionable insights.

• Passionate about creating reusable analytical systems.

• Demonstrated curiosity, eagerness to learn, and sound judgment in employing AI responsibly.

• Authorized to work in the United States and legally eligible for the role’s location.
