This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Take ownership of the Data Product strategy and portfolio within a specific business domain.
• Convert business challenges into scalable and reusable Data Products along with analytical capabilities.
• Establish and guide the product vision and roadmap.
• Recognize valuable challenges and prioritize opportunities based on business value, strategic importance, user requirements, and available capacity.
• Act as the main product liaison for senior business stakeholders.
• Foster transparency concerning priorities, dependencies, trade-offs, and delivery timelines.
• Align business stakeholders with the Data & AI teams.
• Question requirements and uncover underlying business issues.
• Promote Data Product adoption and value realization through product metrics, usage insights, stakeholder feedback, and business KPIs.
• Lead within a cross-functional matrix organization involving Data Engineers, Data Analysts, Forward Deployed Engineers, DataOps, and functional leadership.
• Manage the product backlog and prioritization processes.
• Balance the introduction of new capabilities, technical enhancements, migration tasks, and operational needs.
• Assist in the shift toward self-service analytics.
• Enhance the understandability, reusability, and accessibility of Data Products.
• Detect duplications, gaps, dependencies, and opportunities for reuse across products and domains.
• Over 6 years of relevant product management experience.
• Extensive experience in Data Product Management, Analytics Products, or data-centric products.
• Proven experience in at least one relevant business or data domain such as Customer, Marketplace, Finance, Procurement, Pricing, or Marketing.
• Experience in owning product strategy, roadmaps, prioritization, adoption metrics, and achieving business outcomes.
• Comfortable interacting with and challenging senior stakeholders.
• Ability to question assumptions and differentiate underlying needs from initial requests.
• Understanding the difference between scalable Data Products and individual dashboards.
• Technical knowledge of modern data platforms, data modeling, and analytics.
• Capability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and understand architectural trade-offs.
• Familiarity with Databricks, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and Azure is highly advantageous; equivalent experience in another modern cloud data ecosystem is also relevant.
• Comfortable working within a matrix organization.
• Ability to clearly communicate complex topics and make transparent prioritization decisions.
