Senior Data Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Define the vision and strategy for Reimagined Parking’s commercial data product portfolio.

• Identify and assess opportunities to convert proprietary data, analytics, and insights into products and services.

• Create product business cases, value propositions, use cases, competitive differentiation, revenue potential, and investment requirements.

• Maintain a prioritized product roadmap that aligns with customer needs, market opportunities, and company strategy.

• Establish and evaluate product success metrics, including adoption, engagement, revenue contribution, retention, and business outcomes.

• Collaborate with customers, prospects, sales, marketing, and business leaders to grasp needs and market opportunities.

• Conduct product discovery and convert customer and market insights into product requirements and opportunities.

• Manage the complete product lifecycle from discovery through development, launch, optimization, and retirement.

• Translate business and customer needs into requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and measurable outcomes.

• Partner with data engineering, data science, analytics, software engineering, and technology teams to deliver scalable data products.

• Define and oversee launches, releases, enhancements, and continuous product improvements.

• Identify opportunities for data commercialization and monetization, including products, services, APIs, reporting, and analytics.

• Support product positioning, packaging, pricing, sales enablement, and go-to-market strategies.

• Recognize opportunities to enhance revenue, profitability, operational efficiency, customer experience, and decision-making.

• Lead cross-functional product teams and communicate product vision, priorities, and performance to stakeholders and leadership.

• Report to the Senior VP Product.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience (2 years) as a Data Product Manager or in a similar role within a technology-driven environment.

• Strong grasp of data management, data analytics, and data visualization concepts.

• Familiarity with data engineering, science, and visualization technologies, such as Redshift, DBT, and Microsoft Power BI.

• Experience with Agile methodologies, product management tools like Jira and Trello, and version control systems such as Git.

• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven and detail-oriented approach.

• Background in the parking industry is advantageous.
