Senior Data Product Builder

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of end-to-end projects related to Data Collection and Enrichment Systems.

• Engage regularly with users to translate customer and internal team requirements into actionable product specifications.

• Collaborate daily with engineers to fulfill product specifications.

• Define the scope, collaborate with the team, and facilitate the adoption and monitoring of Data Platform initiatives.

• Maintain a definitive source of truth regarding mission progress.

• Work across various aspects including data acquisition, manual/rule-based/AI-based enrichment, data lakes, and APIs.

• Enhance the speed and reliability of data delivery.

• Establish metrics and KPIs for adoption and performance.

• Analyze metrics and integrate insights into the prioritization process.

• Keep an eye on the competitive landscape and trends in brand measurement.

• Collaborate with engineers, business stakeholders, and leadership teams.

• Contribute to shared tools and processes.

• Assist in the ongoing improvement of the data domain.

• Act as a reference for shaping the company's Data strategy.

• Participate in introductory calls, hiring manager meetings, data and product case presentations, and team-fit interviews.


⛳️ Requirements

• Approximately 5 years of experience in product management or data management.

• Proven experience delivering alongside engineers in a SaaS environment.

• Proficiency in SQL.

• Comfortable with data modeling, pipelines, and APIs.

• Understanding of the data lifecycle from acquisition to delivery.

• Ability to evaluate and enhance data quality.

• Experience tackling data, analytics, or data-product issues alongside engineers.

• Knowledge of the fashion, lifestyle, and beauty industries and their clientele.

• A curiosity regarding branding challenges encountered by fashion and luxury brands.

• A discovery-oriented mindset, focusing on problems rather than solutions.

• Independence in product thinking and rough interface reasoning.

• Effective communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders.

• Proficiency in English.

• Eagerness to learn.

• Proficiency in additional languages is an added advantage.
