Senior Data Product Analyst – Governance, Data Mesh

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Assist in the advancement of the VoC platform's data governance framework.

• Act as a liaison among business, architecture, governance, and data engineering teams.

• Aid in the formulation and upkeep of Data Contracts.

• Contribute to the establishment and monitoring of quality, availability, and data product usage metrics.

• Collaborate on the ownership, classification, and cataloging of data resources.

• Utilize Atlan to query, catalog, and share data insights.

• Engage in Agile ceremonies and planning sessions with product and technology teams.

• Assist in the development and enhancement of data products grounded in Data Mesh principles.

• Ensure consistency between business needs and technical outputs.

• Oversee initiatives related to Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD), sensitive data, and governance best practices.

• Contribute to the documentation of processes, workflows, and responsibilities concerning data assets.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in Data Governance, Data Management, or Data Products.

• Familiarity with Data Mesh and data product principles.

• Experience with data catalogs and metadata management.

• Proficient with Atlan or comparable Data Catalog tools.

• Understanding of modern data architecture and cloud environments.

• Experience using Agile methodologies.

• Knowledge of data quality and governance procedures.

• Capability to collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams.

• Proficiency in AWS.

• Knowledge of Python.

• Familiarity with GitHub.

• Understanding of Agile processes.

• Knowledge of SAFe 4.5.

• Familiarity with Data Contracts.

• Understanding of Data Lineage.

• Knowledge of Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD).

• Familiarity with Data Quality.

• Understanding of Data Lake / Lakehouse architectures.

• Preferred: experience in Customer Analytics or Voice of the Customer (VoC) initiatives.

• Preferred: experience in large enterprise settings.

• Preferred: understanding of the Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers in data platforms.

• Preferred: experience collaborating with Data Engineering and Analytics teams.
