Senior Data Ops Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Create Python components, Terraform modules, and pipelines to facilitate the integration and automation of tools and processes.

• Advocate for the use of APIs across systems to retrieve and update data, initiate and monitor processes, and link infrastructures.

• Deploy, manage, and monitor cloud infrastructure to ensure customer performance and reliability.

• Assist in developing data models, technical documentation, and best practices for users.

• Formulate DevOps and DataOps policies, procedures, and best practices.

• Discover opportunities, devise innovative solutions, and enhance existing product features.

• Engage with customers to comprehend their needs, gather requirements, and suggest scalable technical solutions.

• Collaborate with a team to create solutions and perform hands-on technical tasks for effective data operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong expertise in Python and Bash scripting.

• Proficiency in SQL.

• Extensive knowledge of databases, data warehouses, and data lakes.

• Experience in data pipelines and process enhancement.

• Solid understanding of AWS services, including EC2, Lambda, IAM, SQS, RDS, Kinesis, Glue, and EKS.

• Familiarity with Terraform, GitHub, Docker, and dbt.

• Capacity to excel in rapid iterations and pursue creative solutions.

• Keen attention to detail.

• Ability to collaborate and manage projects with minimal supervision.

• Comfort in working within diverse, non-hierarchical organizations.

• Skill in directly interacting with customers, understanding their needs, gathering requirements, and proposing technical solutions.

• AWS associate or professional-level certifications are advantageous, including Solutions Architect, Developer, or DevOps Engineer.
