Senior Data Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Contribute to current code repositories by enhancing and maintaining code in line with established patterns and conventions.

• Adhere to Git best practices, such as branching, commit hygiene, code review, and merging processes.

• Clearly and consistently communicate progress, obstacles, and technical decisions with the wider team.

• Collaborate within a larger cross-functional team responsible for the overall success of the project.

• Construct data pipelines that support downstream applications, including AI agents that manage purchase orders.

• Integrate and transform data from various sources, such as Google BigQuery and SAP.

• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes to ensure reliable and accurate data flow.

• Design and manage database structures that support both operational and analytical workloads.

• Build and enhance front-end interfaces for internal applications, including replacements for forecasting and inventory management SaaS.

• Develop backend features and administrative functionalities.

• Create and maintain scheduled jobs (cron jobs).

• Provide support for machine learning models used in computer vision and forecasting.

• Prepare data and features for model training and evaluation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in contributing to and extending existing code repositories within a team setting.

• Strong practical knowledge of Git and collaborative version control practices.

• Excellent communication skills, comfortable working closely with a distributed team.

• Proficiency in at least one area: database development and SQL, front-end/application development, ETL and data pipeline development, or machine learning.

• Ability to work across a variety of tasks as defined by the team rather than being confined to a single fixed role.

• Experience with Google BigQuery, SAP, or similar enterprise data platforms is advantageous when relevant to assigned tasks.

• Familiarity with SAP integrations is a plus.

• Experience in building or maintaining SaaS-style applications is beneficial.

• Background in machine learning for computer vision or time-series forecasting is a plus.

• Experience with scheduled/automated jobs (cron) and lightweight administrative tools is desirable.

• Experience in supply chain, manufacturing, logistics, or procurement contexts is an added advantage.
