Senior Data Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, enhance, and sustain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes for analytics and business intelligence.

• Establish data architectures that encompass data lakes, warehouses, and integration layers.

• Execute data quality assessments, validation procedures, and monitoring systems.

• Create and sustain connections between data sources, third-party tools, and analytics platforms.

• Work collaboratively with Data & Analytics Managers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to grasp requirements and deliver technical solutions.

• Supervise and enhance data pipeline performance, query efficiency, and storage expenses.

• Generate and maintain technical documentation for data architectures, pipelines, and processes.

• Apply security best practices and ensure adherence to data privacy regulations.

• Utilize AI tools and automation to improve data engineering workflows and productivity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency with leading Cloud Platform providers (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

• Familiarity with data platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake.

• Proficient in English at a B2 level or higher.

• Experience in working with international clients.

• Strong background in developing data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.

• Expertise with data warehousing solutions (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, or similar).

• Skilled in SQL and at least one programming language (Python, Scala, or Java).

• Knowledge of data modeling and database design principles.

• Proficient in Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking is essential) — listed as Nice to Have.
