Senior Data Center Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Oversee global data center infrastructure upgrade and retrofit initiatives across the client's portfolio.

• Manage the construction program process administration across various global sites.

• Create program budgets, cash flow assessments, commitments, forecasts, and funding requests.

• Lead cross-functional teams on multiple concurrent programs.

• Collaborate with technical authorities and stakeholders to kick off programs and prepare documentation.

• Identify gaps in processes and communication, and implement effective solutions.

• Generate program reports that cover schedule, budget, performance, risks, and opportunities.

• Enhance upgrade and retrofit processes, documentation, workflows, field execution, and overall delivery.

• Provide mentorship for project execution throughout the project lifecycle.

• Create master project timelines and budgets in coordination with project controls, contractors, and design teams.

• Assess technical challenges and devise appropriate solutions.

• Assist in schematic and design development reviews.

• Support contractor pre-qualification, bid solicitation, bid evaluation, and recommendations.

• Engage in constructability reviews and value engineering processes.

• Oversee program and project risk management, cost control, change management, dashboards, and monthly updates.

• Maintain logs of lessons learned and program-level document control.

• Ensure compliance with QA/QC standards and report any issues or gaps.

• Coordinate and manage owner-direct vendors, supply chains, and consultants.

• Define closeout documentation requirements.

• Lead both direct and matrix-report teams, including recruitment, staffing, training, coaching, performance management, and retention.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Project Management, or Engineering.

• Minimum of 5+ years of prior program management experience.

• At least 3 years of experience focused on data center infrastructure or critical environments.

• Familiarity with formal Program Management methodologies and best practices.

• Experience participating in cross-functional teams within a high-tech, multifaceted environment.

• Exceptional problem-solving, critical thinking, analytical, technical, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

• Proven success in delivering high-quality programs.

• Strong experience in change management regarding development, implementation, and execution.

• Demonstrated ability in talent assessment.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Suite.

• Knowledge of Primavera P6 is preferred.

• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• Currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
