Senior Analyst, Reporting & Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Report directly to the Manager of Reporting & Analytics as an individual contributor.

• Work closely with business partners to collect reporting and analytics requirements aimed at improving operational and clinical efficiency.

• Ensure the accuracy and quality of data in analytics and reporting outputs.

• Partner with Data Engineering and Advanced Analytics to convert raw data into meaningful metrics and insights.

• Design and develop analytics dashboards and operational reports utilizing visualization tools such as Power BI.

• Provide training to end users on newly implemented dashboards and deliverables.

• Assist in the enhancement and maintenance of deployed dashboards and deliverables.

• Oversee internal and external timelines for data reporting.

• Identify and monitor reporting issues, including logic errors, data quality concerns, and process inaccuracies.

• Keep documentation for reports and dashboards updated, including KPI definitions and data sources.

• Create data-driven solutions and tools that enhance company performance and patient outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, data science, statistics, public health, economics, or a related field.

• Over 3 years of experience in a reporting or health economics environment within the healthcare industry.

• More than 1 year of experience in developing dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

• Proficient SQL skills are essential.

• Experience in developing data models or collaborating with data engineering teams to produce scalable, analytics-ready datasets.

• Familiarity with the healthcare industry; experience with value-based care is preferred.

• Practical knowledge in transforming data into relevant reports and visualizations.

• Strong skills in organization, analysis, multi-tasking, documentation, presentation, and problem-solving.

• Effective communication skills in both oral and written formats for diverse audiences.

• Robust business acumen and interpersonal abilities.

• Understanding of healthcare privacy and security practices.

• High level of curiosity and a mindset focused on growth.

• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Teams.

• Capability to work efficiently in a predominantly remote environment.

• Home internet connection must support at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload; cable, fiber, or hardwired DSL is recommended.

• Dedicated workspace free from ongoing interruptions to ensure protection of member PHI/HIPAA information.

• A Master’s degree, expertise in SQL and Python, experience with healthcare data, and familiarity with value-based care are preferred.
