Senior Data Analytics Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop, scale, and sustain comprehensive ETL/ELT pipelines and workflows powered by Airflow throughout the entire data lifecycle.

• Create and refine SQL transformations, datasets, and high-quality data models.

• Construct, centralize, and oversee dashboards and analytical tools.

• Convert business requirements into scalable BI solutions.

• Implement governance, monitoring, alerting, SLAs, data validation, and anomaly detection.

• Conduct root-cause analyses to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and trustworthiness of business metrics.

• Operationalize machine learning models in both batch and real-time settings.

• Develop internal data tools for Marketing Science, Analytics, and commercial teams.

• Enhance complex SQL queries and large-scale datasets for improved performance, cost-effectiveness, and scalability within AWS.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and report on key business metrics such as CAC, ROAS, LTV, and conversion funnels.

• Support executive decision-making through data-driven insights.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, BI, or ML Engineering within production environments.

• Proficient in advanced SQL (joins, CTEs, window functions, optimization).

• Proven experience in designing and maintaining production data models and pipelines.

• Practical experience with essential AWS data services, including Redshift, S3, Glue, Athena, and Lambda.

• Hands-on knowledge of Apache Airflow for managing workflows.

• Strong Python programming skills with a focus on OOP.

• Familiarity with CI/CD practices, including GitHub Actions or GitLab.

• Experience in containerization using Docker and Kubernetes/ECS/EKS.

• Proficient with BI tools like Tableau, QuickSight, or similar platforms.

• Direct responsibility for production reporting, data quality, and root-cause analysis.

• Systems-level thinking with high standards for documentation, scalability, and accuracy.

• Ability to effectively communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience with dbt or contemporary ELT frameworks.

• Specialized knowledge in e-commerce and marketing analytics, including CAC, ROAS, LTV, retention, and funnel optimization.
