Manager, Analytics Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

• Oversee the design and maintenance of analytics-ready data models.

• Ensure reliable and efficient data pipelines utilizing Snowflake, SQL, and dbt.

• Advocate for reusable, modular, and well-documented code.

• Structure, label, and validate datasets for AI and machine learning applications.

• Collaborate with data science and AI teams on model training and deployment.

• Implement data governance standards, manage metadata, and ensure data lineage.

• Monitor and enhance data quality, integrity, and consistency.

• Ensure adherence to enterprise data policies and regulatory standards.

• Partner with business leaders, product managers, and data consumers to provide insights.

• Present findings, strategic roadmaps, and recommendations to senior leadership.

• Manage analytics engineering infrastructure and cloud data platforms.

• Assess and integrate tools to enhance productivity and scalability.

• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and Git-based deployment workflows.

• Plan and prioritize initiatives that align with business objectives.

• Track progress, measure impact, and ensure timely execution.

• Identify and mitigate risks associated with data infrastructure and analytics operations.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Adhere to all relevant policies and standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and over 5 years of relevant experience.

• Equivalent experience may be considered through applicable knowledge, responsibilities, scope, and skills reflective of the position level.

• Proficiency in data modeling, transformation, and delivery.

• Familiarity with dbt and modern analytics engineering methodologies.

• Experience with Snowflake, SQL, and dbt.

• Experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake and BigQuery.

• Proficient in CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.

• Knowledge of AI and machine learning data requirements.

• Understanding of data governance, metadata management, and data lineage.

• Awareness of enterprise data policies and regulatory standards.

• Ability to articulate technical concepts and analytics results to non-technical stakeholders.

• Capability to lead, mentor, and develop analytics engineers.
