This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Provide regional technical guidance across Purina LATAM factories as an individual contributor.

• Create and implement Advanced Analytics, Machine Learning, and AI solutions to improve problem-solving and operational decision-making.

• Examine manufacturing, process, equipment, and sensor data to discover opportunities for enhancing efficiency, reducing losses, improving quality, and ensuring process stability.

• Direct Data Science projects from the identification of opportunities to implementation and realization of value.

• Develop, scale, and replicate analytical solutions across Purina LATAM factories to achieve operational savings and performance enhancements.

• Collaborate with Manufacturing Excellence, Operations, Engineering, Automation, IT, and Quality teams to integrate solutions into manufacturing processes and systems.

• Assist in operational compliance, performance management, and continuous improvement through insights driven by data and digital solutions.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a comparable field.

• Experience in Data Science, Advanced Analytics, Machine Learning, AI, or other related analytical projects.

• Proven track record of applying analytics to address business or operational challenges, ideally within manufacturing settings.

• Experience engaging with cross-functional stakeholders and operating within regional or matrix organizations.

• Strong understanding of Statistics, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Predictive Analytics, and Data Visualization.

• Proficient in Python, SQL, and various data analytics tools.

• Experience with databases, data integration, and analysis of industrial or manufacturing data.

• Familiarity with structured problem-solving, continuous improvement, and project management methodologies.

• Ability to effectively communicate analytical insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in English.

• Experience with TrendMiner, Braincube, Databricks, Azure, or comparable analytics platforms.

• Background in manufacturing, Industry 4.0, or digital transformation initiatives.

• Knowledge of SAP, MII, DMO, automation systems, or industrial data infrastructures.

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and operational savings initiatives.

• Proven ability to scale analytics and AI solutions across multiple sites or regions.
