This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee impactful, end-to-end analytics initiatives that shape product strategies, from experiment conception to post-launch evaluation.
• Collaborate across various functions with stakeholders to harmonize priorities and convert inquiries into analytical frameworks.
• Engage with Product Management, Engineering, Data Science, and Functional teams to collect, manipulate, analyze, and document intricate raw data.
• Present cohesive data narratives to both business and technical audiences.
• Provide clear, data-driven insights that drive organizational decision-making.
• Create and sustain dashboards, experiment reports, and datasets for self-service by product teams and performance monitoring.
• Detect data quality challenges and assist in rectifying discrepancies across source systems and instrumentation.
• Design and evaluate A/B tests, including sample size determination, significance testing, and interpretation of results.
• Formulate analytics strategies for new features, establishing success metrics, instrumentation, and measurement methodologies in collaboration with Product Managers.
• Address ad hoc analytical inquiries.
• Suggest enhancements to analytics tools and processes.
• MBA is preferred, with a specialization in analytics, strategy, or a relevant quantitative discipline.
• Over 7 years of experience in data and product analytics, demonstrating a solid record of business impact.
• Proficient in SQL.
• Skilled in a programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Scala, or C++).
• Familiarity with large-scale data tools like Hive, Spark, or equivalent.
• Practical experience with Snowflake or other contemporary cloud data warehouses.
• Strong grounding in statistics and multivariate regression techniques.
• Proficiency in data visualization and BI tools (Domo, Tableau, Looker, etc.).
• Ability to articulate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders and influence decision-making.
• Experience in eCommerce or subscription-based businesses is highly advantageous.
• Knowledge of A/B testing, web analytics (GA, Amplitude, Mixpanel), and customer journey analysis.
