Senior Data, AI Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete solution architecture for data, analytics, and AI applications.

• Ensure the quality of design, along with security, scalability, supportability, and cost management.

• Convert business requirements into technical designs, target architectures, integration strategies, and implementation guidelines.

• Lead hands-on prototyping, architecture assessments, troubleshooting, code/design evaluations, and provide technical support for delivery teams.

• Integrate security, governance, compliance, and operational readiness from the design phase through to production deployment.

• Assist delivery teams throughout design, prototyping, implementation, evaluations, and preparation for production.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 10 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in senior solution architecture positions focused on enterprise data, analytics, and AI platforms.

• More than 5 years of substantial hands-on experience with Azure-based data platforms, such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, data lake architectures, SQL, and dimensional data modeling.

• Significant experience with enterprise security, governance, and compliance.

• Capability to collaborate effectively with enterprise architects and regulatory functions to satisfy organizational standards and control requirements.

• Experience in designing solutions utilizing Azure OpenAI and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) methodologies.

• Background in BI/analytics architecture with Power BI or similar enterprise BI technologies.

• Relevant Microsoft certifications in Azure, Power BI, data, or AI architecture are considered beneficial.

• Experience in life sciences, pharmaceuticals, or other regulated sectors is a plus.
