Senior Cybersecurity Pre-Sales Technical Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Establish and nurture reliable relationships with security executives, CISOs, risk managers, and technical decision-makers at both prospective and existing accounts.

• Recognize and drive opportunities for growth in professional services and managed security services (MSS).

• Design and develop comprehensive security solutions across various delivery models for professional services and managed security services.

• Engage with customers to comprehend their security challenges, compliance needs, risk posture, and business goals, converting them into technical solutions and value propositions.

• Collaborate with professional services, MSS delivery teams, and solution partners to create and customize security service offerings.

• Define and communicate requirements, proposed solutions, and value propositions in Statements of Work, technical architecture designs, and RFP responses.

• Present security solutions and value propositions to technical teams, business leaders, and C-suite stakeholders.

• Keep abreast of the security landscape, threat environment, regulatory frameworks, and vendor ecosystem.

• Provide market insights to sales and delivery teams based on trends in security, threat intelligence, regulatory updates, and vendor offerings.

• Create business cases and financial models for security investments, including ROI, TCO, and risk mitigation value.

• Relay customer feedback to product and delivery teams to support service development and continuous improvement.

• Foster cross-functional collaboration among sales, professional services, MSS delivery, offering management, and marketing.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field with a focus or major in cybersecurity/information security - MUST HAVE.

• At least 5 years of practical IT and cybersecurity experience, including a minimum of 2 years in technical pre-sales, solution architecture, or presales engineering - MUST HAVE.

• Demonstrated experience in customer-facing roles; comfortable delivering technical and business solutions to all levels of the organization, including executives - MUST HAVE.

• Experience working with a Managed Security Services provider (MSSP) or familiarity with Security Operations Center (SOC) operations and 24/7 security monitoring - MUST HAVE.

• Technical expertise in demonstrating security technology for SIEM, SOAR, and MDR in customer pre-sales engagements - MUST HAVE.

• Knowledge of security technologies across multiple domains: firewalls, intrusion prevention/detection, DLP, cloud security, endpoint protection, and familiarity with the vendor ecosystem (Palo Alto Networks, Checkpoint, Cisco, IBM, Splunk, Fortinet, etc.) - MUST HAVE.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; capable of explaining complex security concepts in customer-friendly terms - MUST HAVE.

• Professional security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GIAC (GCIH, GSEC), CEH, CISA, CRISC, or equivalent - HIGHLY DESIRABLE.

• Experience in designing and proposing security consulting services: penetration testing, security assessments, vulnerability assessments, PCI compliance audits, and security policy development - HIGHLY DESIRABLE.

• Experience in developing security solution architectures and responding to large-scale, complex RFPs and technical questionnaires - HIGHLY DESIRABLE.

• Familiarity with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP), virtualization, and hybrid security architectures - HIGHLY DESIRABLE.

• Understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements: GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, NIST, CSF, and industry-specific regulations - HIGHLY DESIRABLE.

• Knowledge of the modern threat landscape: cyber kill chains, MITRE ATT&CK framework, threat modeling, and attack surface analysis - HIGHLY DESIRABLE.

• Experience with security service delivery models and SLAs; understanding of KPIs for MSS and professional services - HIGHLY DESIRABLE.

• Proven track record of identifying and securing mid-to-large security services deals with complex sales cycles - HIGHLY DESIRABLE.
