This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with Sales teams during the pre-sales phase to comprehend customer needs and devise technical solutions.
• Serve as the technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for drive-thru technology, encompassing loop-based and video systems, drive-thru timers, computer vision, sensors, and audio/headsets.
• Execute technical discovery and convert customer requirements into suitable solutions.
• Create and assess technical diagrams, system architectures, camera layouts, network diagrams, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Support RFPs, tenders, proposals, Statements of Work (SOWs), and technical specifications.
• Engage in customer meetings, presentations, demonstrations, and technical workshops.
• Supply technical insights for solution pricing, scope, and commercial proposals.
• Collaborate closely with Product and Sales teams to relay customer feedback and pinpoint opportunities for product and solution advancement.
• Act as the technical liaison among customers, Sales, and Product teams.
• Proven experience in Sales Engineering, Pre-Sales, Solutions Engineering, or a comparable technical customer-facing role.
• Experience with QSR or restaurant technology is highly preferred.
• Practical knowledge of drive-thru technology is highly desirable.
• Technical expertise in electrical, electronics, telecommunications, networking, IT, CCTV/security, or systems engineering.
• Proficient in creating technical diagrams using tools such as Visio, AutoCAD, Lucidchart, Draw.io, or similar software.
• Strong grasp of technology infrastructure and the ability to swiftly acquire new technological skills.
• Relevant technical qualification, trade certification, or equivalent industry experience.
• Familiarity with drive-thru systems, CCTV, networking, cabling, infrastructure, and technical solution design.
• Knowledge of vision fundamentals, including camera types, positioning, field of view, IP cameras, and video infrastructure.
• Understanding of basic networking concepts, Ethernet, TCP/IP, PoE, switches, and structured cabling.
• Knowledge of basic electrical and low-voltage infrastructure related to technology deployments.
• Ability to read site plans and technical drawings and translate them into technology requirements.
• Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, organizational, and solution-oriented skills.
• Comfortable collaborating with Sales in a dynamic, customer-centric environment.
