This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Develop and execute joint business planning for Costco to enhance volume, profit, and share growth across club customers and all categories.
• Oversee the comprehensive customer strategy for Campbell’s portfolio within Costco.
• Manage business plans for both Brick & Mortar and Ecommerce channels.
• Implement brand strategies and tactical initiatives with customer decision-makers using shopper and category insights to meet Distribution, Shelving, Merchandising, and Pricing goals.
• Craft customer plans utilizing Campbell’s Sales Planning & Customer Investment system.
• Lead cross-portfolio initiatives and create trade promotion strategies.
• Supervise trade budgets, expenditures, volume, and sales targets against planned objectives.
• Connect consumer and shopper trends with category management practices.
• Develop collaborative marketing initiatives with Customer Marketing resources.
• Analyze promotional activities and optimize future promotional possibilities.
• Conduct category business assessments.
• Formulate monthly forecasts, monitor shipments, consumption, and inventory, while identifying forecasting risks.
• Promote new items, secure optimal distribution, and identify profitable incremental volume opportunities.
• Provide retail direction for executing customer-specific store-level plans.
• Evaluate customer competitive standings and establish customer investment strategies.
• Cultivate relationships with key customer decision-makers.
• Manage category management, supply chain, and merchandising interactions.
• Collaborate across functions with customer teams and personnel from World Headquarters.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in CPG industry Sales and/or Category Management is preferred; experience with Costco is also preferred.
• Candidates with a distinctive blend of relevant experiences, capabilities, and demonstrated business results may be considered as a substitute for the specified years of experience.
