Senior Customer Engineer, LATAM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Act as a trusted technical advisor for potential clients regarding data architecture, governance, instrumentation, and achieving business outcomes.

• Engage and consult with stakeholders across all levels to build trust and influence purchasing decisions.

• Align technical and business requirements by establishing success criteria for proof-of-concept and ensuring effective execution and results.

• Utilize Mixpanel expertise alongside technical and consultative abilities throughout proof-of-concept initiatives.

• Collaborate with Account Executives to enhance revenue growth and serve as the primary technical contact for customers.

• Work with post-sales teams to convert pre-sales value propositions into tangible post-sales outcomes.

• Build relationships and identify the needs of key technical stakeholders within the designated portfolio of clients.

• Gather feedback from prospects and relay it to the Product team.

• Participate in deal cycles, lead technical validation, and deliver tailored demonstrations.

• Plan and execute proof-of-concept projects, covering data ingestion, architecture, success criteria, and implementation strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in both business and conversational Spanish and English.

• Capable of communicating with stakeholders at all levels, from discussing APIs with developers to addressing organizational efficiency with CIOs.

• Proven history of qualifying and selling technical solutions to executive stakeholders.

• Over 6 years of experience in a Software-as-a-Service Sales Engineering or a related field.

• Familiarity with data querying, modeling, and transformation using tools such as SQL, dbt, Python, Business Intelligence platforms, or Product Analytics tools.

• Knowledge of databases and cloud data warehouses, including Google Cloud, Amazon Redshift, Microsoft Azure, Snowflake, and Databricks.

• Successful background in sales engineering, consulting, or technical project management.

• Exceptional written, analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

• Strong discipline in process and project delivery.

• Proficient with AI tools such as Claude, Claude Code, and Gemini.

• Willingness to travel as required.
