This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Lead the continuous development, support, and enhancement of Ventura Foods' Salesforce CRM platform (Velocity).
• Collaborate with cross-functional Commercial teams to identify business requirements, define specifications, and implement effective solutions.
• Administer Salesforce by overseeing user access, monitoring and resolving system issues, and optimizing configurations and processes.
• Provide primary user support, troubleshoot system issues, and offer daily help desk assistance.
• Assist in onboarding, training, and ongoing coaching for Salesforce users.
• Create and maintain training materials, knowledge resources, and process documentation.
• Assess platform health, value, effectiveness, adoption, and system usage through data analysis.
• Manage and sustain third-party industry data within Velocity.
• Enhance data quality, automate data feeds and processes, utilize AI when appropriate, and maximize CRM ROI.
• Lead efforts in CRM data stewardship and reporting.
• Design and maintain custom reports and dashboards that incorporate business, adoption, and system usage metrics.
• Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing for CRM enhancements, integrations, new software, and system updates.
• Develop test scenarios, validate business requirements, document results, identify defects, and assess process impacts.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure solutions align with user needs and are effectively adopted.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field, along with a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator required.
• 2–3 years of experience working with Salesforce Core Clouds, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Marketing Cloud, applying best practices.
• 3–4 years of experience in analyzing business data.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with IT stakeholders, business leaders, and the user community.
• Capability to learn Ventura's business processes and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• A positive attitude; consistent, reliable, and detail-oriented.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Intermediate knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and conditional statements.
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to translate business needs and gather requirements for potential enhancements.
• Proficiency in creating workflows, reports, and dashboards within Salesforce and/or Business Analytics tools.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce Declarative Code.
• Salesforce Admin certification preferred (ADM 201 and ADM 211).
