Developer Analyst – Salesforce Data Cloud Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Revamp the architecture and data model of Salesforce Data Cloud, which includes Data Model Objects, relationships, and Calculated Insights.

• Establish the single-customer identity strategy and set up Identity Resolution.

• Map and transfer data from external sources like data lakes and data warehouses into Data Cloud.

• Redesign audience segmentation within the platform, utilizing segment reuse and hierarchy to enhance cost-effectiveness and performance.

• Improve platform credit consumption by cleaning up environments and eliminating inactive objects and streams.

• Set up segment activation for Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud.

• Perform technical diagnostics (health checks) on current Data Cloud environments.

• Document architecture, data governance, and prioritized use cases.

• Provide guidance to clients on platform best practices, focusing on scalability and cost efficiency.

• Collaborate on a staff augmentation project, working closely with the client’s internal team alongside Marketing Cloud and Data Engineering experts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• Extensive experience in implementing and optimizing Salesforce Data Cloud in live environments.

• Understanding of Customer Data Platform (CDP) architecture.

• Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

• Proficient in SQL.

• Expertise in Salesforce Data Cloud, including Data Streams, Data Model Objects, Identity Resolution, Calculated Insights, Segmentation and Activation, and Data Actions.

• SQL skills for data modeling and validation.

• Experience in integrating Data Cloud with external sources like data lakes and Databricks.

• Knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud features, including Journey Builder and Audience Builder.

• Understanding of credit consumption governance and best practices in architecture.

• Familiarity with Salesforce Data Cloud, Databricks, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, SQL, Postman, Jira/Trello, and Miro/Draw.io.

• Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant certification is a plus.

• Experience with Identity Resolution in multi-source data environments is an asset.

• Familiarity with Agentforce or AI agents developed on Data Cloud is advantageous.

• Prior experience in consulting projects within the client’s team is beneficial.

• Advanced proficiency in English is preferred.
