This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Participate in sessions to gather requirements from customers, identifying their business needs, challenges, and objectives.
• Create user stories that include acceptance criteria for developers.
• Document both current-state and future-state process flows utilizing Lucidchart or Visio.
• Align business requirements with Salesforce functionalities, covering objects, fields, page layouts, and Flows.
• Configure solutions declaratively, ensuring that acceptance criteria are fulfilled and obtaining client sign-off.
• Assist in user acceptance testing by developing test scripts, executing tests, and logging any defects.
• Maintain traceability of requirements, linking each story to a specific customer need.
• Develop training materials, user guides, and release notes.
• Aid in data mapping and validation during the data migration process.
• Engage in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, and demonstrations.
• Keep backlog items organized and up-to-date in Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
• Validate requirements and solution designs through walkthroughs, prototypes, stakeholder feedback, and solution demonstrations.
• Coordinate and support user acceptance testing, which includes developing test scenarios, providing execution support, managing defect triage, communicating with stakeholders, and securing final sign-off.
• Contribute to change management tasks, encompassing documentation, training materials, stakeholder communications, executive summaries, and decision-support briefings.
• Deliver oral and written presentations to government managers and senior stakeholders.
• Carry out other job-related responsibilities as assigned.
• 1 to 2 years of experience as a business analyst, Salesforce administrator, quality assurance professional, or in a comparable role.
• Practical knowledge of Salesforce, including standard objects, reports, dashboards, and basic declarative configuration.
• Experience in writing user stories or requirements documentation.
• Familiarity with testing Salesforce solutions and documenting test steps, scripts, and results.
• Understanding of Agile or Scrum methodologies.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Ability to sit for extended periods at a desk and work on a computer; may occasionally involve standing or moving around the office for extended durations.
• Must successfully pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
• Salesforce Certified Administrator, Associate, or Business Analyst certification is preferred.
• Knowledge of Salesforce Public Sector Solutions, Service Cloud, or Experience Cloud is a plus.
• Some experience with OmniStudio is preferred.
• Previous experience supporting federal or public sector clients is advantageous.
• An active Trailhead profile demonstrating ongoing learning is preferred.
