Senior Business Analyst, Salesforce

📋 Description

• Oversee the intake of business requests by clarifying issues, defining the scope, assessing business value, and preparing tasks for the delivery backlog.

• Facilitate requirements sessions with stakeholders from Sales, Finance, Professional Services, Customer Success, and Marketing.

• Document existing and future business processes while identifying gaps, risks, and areas for improvement.

• Create user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows in Jira; maintain documentation in Confluence.

• Take ownership of backlog readiness, ensuring that tasks are defined, prioritized, and prepared prior to sprint planning.

• Engage in Agile Scrum ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Collaborate with developers, administrators, and QA throughout the delivery process; address requirements queries, assist with testing, and verify that solutions meet acceptance criteria.

• Analyze cross-system processes and data flows involving Salesforce, Zuora, Kantata, Gainsight, and Boomi integrations.

• Assist in prioritizing tasks based on data, business impact, and trade-offs.

• Establish and uphold standards for requirements and documentation.

• Influence stakeholders at all levels, challenging incomplete, conflicting, or low-value requests.

• Aid in user acceptance testing, release communications, and change management.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in business analysis with enterprise business applications.

• 3+ years of direct business analysis experience with Salesforce, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or CPQ.

• Ability to apply business analysis skills across various platforms and quickly adapt to new systems.

• Strong background in Agile Scrum environments, including crafting user stories and acceptance criteria.

• Practical experience with Jira and Confluence.

• Proficiency in process mapping and documentation tools, such as BPMN, swimlane diagrams, Visio, or Lucidchart.

• Capability to influence senior stakeholders without direct authority.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• A bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States or Canada.
