
Senior Counsel β Lemon Law Litigation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Create persuasive case themes for defense litigation.
β’ Take charge of court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials independently.
β’ Oversee cases from strategic planning through discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
β’ Collaborate as a team member across varying levels of experience.
β’ Maintain regular communication with clients.
β’ Build and nurture relationships with current and prospective clients.
β’ Guide and mentor less experienced attorneys.
β’ Represent manufacturers and corporate clients in significant Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act and consumer litigation cases throughout California.
β’ Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited institution.
β’ Active membership with the State Bar of California; must hold a license in California.
β’ Over 8 years of substantial litigation experience, particularly in litigation support, depositions, and trial preparation.
β’ At least 5 years of litigation experience focused on Lemon Law defense matters.
β’ Minimum of 2 years of experience in CRLA, tenant advocacy, or housing litigation.
β’ At least 2 years of experience in General Liability defense.
β’ Capability to manage comprehensive case responsibilities, encompassing all aspects of discovery and trial.
β’ Preferred experience in handling insurance defense matters.
β’ Familiarity with time management systems.
β’ Proficient in the MS Office Suite, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
β’ Ability to operate independently with minimal oversight.
β’ Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
β’ Professional demeanor and appearance.
β’ Experience in Lemon Law, automotive warranty, or complex civil litigation, including cases involving the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act.
β’ Valued experience representing manufacturers, automotive clients, or other product defendants; consumer advocacy or CRLA backgrounds are encouraged.
β’ Annual billable hours bonus ranging from $10,000, accumulating with an additional $7,500 for each subsequent tier.
