Senior Counsel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Create engaging case narratives

• Manage court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials independently

• Formulate case strategies and nurture client relationships

• Oversee discovery processes and motion practices

• Conduct and defend depositions

• Prepare cases for trial and make strategic decisions

• Collaborate within a team of varying experience levels

• Maintain regular communication with clients

• Foster relationships with current and prospective clients

• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior attorneys

• Manage substantial insurance defense and civil litigation cases from inception to resolution

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited institution

• Active license to practice law in California; must be licensed in the State of California

• Over 8 years of robust litigation experience, particularly in litigation support, deposition, and trial preparation

• Capability to oversee full case management responsibilities, encompassing all aspects of discovery and trial

• Preferably experienced in handling insurance defense cases

• Familiarity with time management systems

• Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

• Ability to operate independently with minimal oversight

• Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication abilities

• Professional appearance and conduct
