Senior Counsel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Create persuasive case themes to counter plaintiff arguments

• Manage court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials independently

• Collaborate effectively within a team of varying experience levels

• Maintain regular communication with clients

• Build and nurture relationships with current and prospective clients

• Provide guidance and leadership to junior attorneys

• Oversee high-stakes insurance defense litigation and complex cases

⛳️ Requirements

• Active bar license in the State of California is mandatory

• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited institution

• Must hold a valid license in your state

• 8+ years of litigation experience, particularly in litigation support, deposition, and trial preparation

• Capability to manage complete case handling responsibilities, including all aspects of discovery and trial

• Preferred experience in handling insurance defense cases

• Familiarity with time management systems

• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, especially Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

• Ability to think independently and act with minimal supervision

• Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills

• Professional appearance and demeanor
