Senior Counsel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Create engaging case themes for matters related to insurance defense.

• Effectively manage court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials independently.

• Collaborate with attorneys of varying experience levels.

• Maintain regular communication with clients.

• Build and nurture relationships with current and prospective clients.

• Offer guidance and leadership to junior attorneys.

• Oversee high-exposure litigation cases with a high degree of autonomy.

• Strategically navigate complex, high-stakes matters and litigation approaches.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from a school accredited by the ABA.

• Must hold an active California bar license.

• Minimum of 8 years of litigation experience, particularly in litigation support, depositions, and trial preparation.

• Competence in managing complete case handling responsibilities, encompassing all aspects of discovery and trial.

• Preferred experience in handling insurance defense matters.

• Familiarity with time management systems.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

• Capacity to think and act autonomously with limited supervision.

• Exceptional listening, verbal, and written communication abilities.

• Professional demeanor and appearance.
