Senior Contracts Manager, Government Programs

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Evaluate and coordinate Requests for Proposals, encompassing pricing, change orders, and modifications.

• Solicit, award, and oversee Purchase Orders and Subcontracts.

• Manage Non-Disclosure and Teaming Agreements effectively.

• Utilize knowledge of Other Transaction Authority (OTA) and IDIQ contracts.

• Assist with Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) reviews and audits.

• Negotiate favorable outcomes for contracts.

• Oversee contract/subcontract reporting systems.

• Conduct FAR research and suggest compliant strategies.

• Lead contractual processes with all partners supporting various U.S. Government Federal programs.

• Report directly to the VP, Chief Operations and Admin Officer of Westinghouse Government Services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

• Over 10 years of experience in contract management with federal contracts.

• Understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and agency supplements.

• Familiarity with government systems, programs, and contractual responsibilities involving a government entity, a privately-run company, and multiple subcontractors.

• Experience within the Department of Energy or Department of Defense is preferred.

• Certified Professional Contracts Manager or a similar certification is preferred.

• Willingness to travel as necessary.
