Procurement Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Oversee procurement initiatives that support various programs within the Product Support sector.

• Cultivate supplier relationships and manage subcontracts throughout the acquisition lifecycle.

• Address medium- and high-complexity issues and conflicts while adhering to FAR/DFAR and corporate standards.

• Develop strong connections with first-tier subcontractors.

• Offer Supply Chain assistance for gate and metrics evaluations.

• Execute procurement and supplier management for U.S. Government and commercial contracts.

• Generate RFQs/RFPs, negotiate contracts, and oversee supplier management.

• Manage high-value, intricate material and service procurements and subcontracts.

• Conduct source selection, price analysis, negotiations, and identification of supplier risks.

• Relay contract, quality, terms, and conditions requirements to suppliers.

• Oversee supplier performance in relation to cost, schedule, and quality objectives.

• Work with program offices to address sourcing challenges.

• Review procurement reports and enhance company metric performance.

• Engage proactively in a dynamic environment while ensuring compliance.

• Support the training of peer procurement professionals.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree with at least 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related discipline with a minimum of 5 years of experience.

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or a related field is preferred.

• Skills in project planning and management, such as MS Project and EVMS.

• Experience in development-oriented procurement and significant subcontracts.

• Familiarity with a SAP-based environment.

• Knowledge of the technical requirements for procured hardware and services, including SOW reviews.

• Understanding of ITAR regulations.

• Proven knowledge and compliance with FAR/DFARS regulations.

• Experience with Cost Plus and Firm Fixed Price contractual arrangements.

• Proficiency in evaluating proposal compliance under FAR 15.4.

• No security clearance is required.
