This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Act as a senior expert in federal contracting throughout the entire government contracting lifecycle.
• Provide assistance with solicitations, contract awards, modifications, reporting, and closeout processes.
• Evaluate and interpret solicitation and contract requirements, offering guidance to internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Sales, Commercial Operations, Legal, Pricing, and other relevant partners.
• Recognize contractual, operational, and compliance risks and aid in their resolution.
• Oversee contractual obligations while ensuring accurate contract documentation and record-keeping.
• Support audit requests, reporting obligations, and customer inquiries.
• Conduct analysis of contract data and trends to facilitate decision-making and enhance operations.
• Seek opportunities to streamline processes and utilize automation, artificial intelligence, and digital tools.
• Advocate for best practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• A bachelor's degree is required, along with 5 years of experience in government contracting, contract management, or a related business area; or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
• Strong comprehension of federal government contracting principles and contract lifecycle management.
• Capability to analyze intricate requirements, identify risks, and create practical business solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Proficient in collaborating effectively within a matrix organization and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
• Experience with contract management systems, CRM platforms, Microsoft Excel, and associated business applications.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
• Preferred: Familiarity with federal contract vehicles such as FSS, GSA, DAPA, BPA, or IDIQ contracts.
• Preferred: Background in supporting federal solicitations and proposal development activities.
• Preferred: Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, VAAR, and related federal acquisition regulations.
• Preferred: Experience utilizing Power BI, Salesforce, CLM platforms, or other reporting and analytics tools.
• Preferred: Proven track record of implementing process improvements, automation solutions, or AI-enabled business tools.
