Senior Consulting Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Take the lead in managing consulting projects from their initiation through to completion, ensuring successful outcomes and high client satisfaction.

• Work closely with clients to grasp their business objectives, technical needs, and challenges.

• Perform technical evaluations and analyses to uncover opportunities for enhancement and optimization.

• Design and develop innovative solutions leveraging a variety of technologies and platforms.

• Offer direct implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting support for client projects.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior consulting engineers.

• Collaborate with sales, product development, and customer success teams.

• Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, offering proactive recommendations to clients.

• Create and conduct technical training sessions and workshops for clients.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, which includes project plans, architecture diagrams, and implementation guides.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (a Master's degree is advantageous).

• Demonstrated experience as a Consulting Engineer or in a similar capacity, with a proven history of successful project delivery.

• In-depth understanding of networking, security, cloud technologies, and infrastructure.

• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, capable of conveying complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Practical experience with implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting within client environments.

• Strong problem-solving capabilities and a strategic mindset regarding technical solutions.

• Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

• Excellent organizational and project management skills.

• Willingness to travel to client locations as required.
