Senior ASIC Verification Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Establish the overall verification strategy, technical planning, and direction for SoC-level projects.

• Facilitate and advance the development of UVM environments for RTL verification at the block, unit, and SoC levels.

• Create and implement functional tests based on verification test plans.

• Enhance testbenches for functional and code coverage and drive towards coverage completion.

• Work in collaboration with design, software, emulation, and silicon validation teams to guarantee high-quality designs.

• Offer daily guidance and leadership to team members.

• Achieve results through mentoring, coaching, and advising.

• Train the team on the use of AI tools to enhance productivity and efficiency.

• Develop and enforce coding and verification standards.

• Take ownership of verification closure for complete projects, encompassing design modules, sub-systems, and SoCs.

• Contribute to the achievement of first-pass silicon success.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.

• Practical experience in coding with UVM/SystemVerilog.

• Verification expertise for intricate SoCs with multiple clock and reset domains utilizing VCS or similar simulation tools.

• Capability to debug failures down to the RTL line and conclude bug fixes using Verdi or equivalent debugging tools.

• Experience in developing testbenches from the ground up.

• Familiarity with version control systems like Git or SVN.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.

• Preferred: Over 8 years of pertinent experience in networking hardware verification.

• Preferred: Proficiency in verifying 50G, 100G, or 400G Ethernet MAC/PCS protocols, TCP/IP, RDMA/RoCE, and IPSec.

• Preferred: Knowledge of one or more scripting languages (TCL, Python, Perl, Shell scripting).

• Preferred: Demonstrated history of first-pass success in ASIC and systems.

• Experience with AI tools for generating test plans and boosting verification productivity is highly desirable.

• Candidates must reside within the United States.
