This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
β’ Ensure strict compliance with and advocate for the Halker Project Delivery Process (PDP) for every project assigned.
β’ Develop the engineering work scope, project schedules, and budgets for the assigned projects.
β’ Track progress to ensure adherence to schedule and budget specifications.
β’ Accountable for team performance in achieving schedule, cost, and quality targets.
β’ Coordinate projects to guarantee the successful completion of assigned project phases within the allocated time and budget constraints.
β’ Ensure that client criteria and project scope are fulfilled by all engineering disciplines.
β’ Supervise project deliverables to ensure compliance with engineering principles, corporate standards, customer requirements, and relevant industry specifications.
β’ Initiate and engage in meetings to address technical and project-related issues.
β’ Assess and authorize design modifications, specifications, and drawing releases/reviews in collaboration with assigned engineering discipline leads.
β’ Collaborate with field personnel, vendors, and other disciplines.
β’ Act as a technical resource for troubleshooting project-related challenges and problem-solving.
β’ Foster client relationships to maintain open lines of communication between the client and project team.
β’ Oversee the installation, maintenance, and operation of oil field equipment.
β’ Prepare weekly project status reports and address issues for clients, including deliverables and the current budget/billing status.
β’ Bachelorβs Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
β’ A minimum of 5+ years of experience in project management and/or project engineering, or relevant engineering/construction experience within the oil & gas sector.
β’ Preferred experience in Upstream and/or Midstream oil and gas operations.
β’ Experience with vendor interaction and coordination with field crews.
β’ Demonstrated expertise in the direct oversight and management of facility and plant design.
β’ Extensive background in facility design, including piping, foundation, structural design, instrument and electrical systems, distributed control systems, programmable logic controllers, process control fundamentals, and safety systems.
β’ Ability to multi-task and manage various projects simultaneously.
β’ Must possess flexibility and the ability to pivot between tasks frequently.
β’ Strong relationship-building skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
