Senior Consultant, Sage Intacct Implementation – Construction/CRE

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee various construction-vertical projects and clients, ensuring successful implementation that is both on-time and within budget.

• Carry out implementation tasks that include consultation, defining requirements, designing solutions, configuring systems, testing, training, data cleansing, and migrating data.

• Maintain extensive knowledge of Sage Intacct, its advanced modules, and the specific functionalities of Sage Intacct for Construction (CRE).

• Configure Sage Intacct in alignment with customer business processes and leading industry practices.

• Leverage in-depth understanding of construction industry terminology, operations, and micro-verticals.

• Adhere to prescribed implementation methodologies and standardized project plans.

• Utilize and nurture less experienced implementation team members through coaching and mentorship.

• Provide training to end users across all organizational levels of the customer.

• Translate business requirements into configurable software solutions and processes using visual flowcharts.

• Address technical support issues related to implementations.

• Design and create industry-specific key performance indicators (KPIs), reports, and dashboards.

• Collaborate with teams from Professional Services, Sales, Support, Marketing, and Customer Success.

• Assist in developing best practices for deployment, knowledge repositories, tools, and ensuring repeatability in service delivery.

• Mentor Associate Solution Architects and Solution Architects.

• Act as a point of escalation for project-related issues.

• Foster internal and client relationships while promoting team member growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is required, ideally in Accounting, Business, or Management Information Systems (MIS).

• A foundational understanding of accounting terminology through prior coursework or experience.

• A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in consulting and implementing Sage Intacct.

• Sage Intacct Certified Implementation Consultant / Sage Intacct Construction Certified Implementation Consultant is highly preferred.

• Industry knowledge acquired through operational or accounting roles within the construction sector.

• Experience in consulting from start to finish throughout the software delivery lifecycle, following a process-oriented methodology, or as an end user who has participated in a software implementation or upgrade.

• Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency in pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and macros, are preferred.

• Strong capabilities in time management, communication, relationship-building, collaboration, and problem-solving.

• Excellent leadership, project management, organizational, and analytical skills, coupled with initiative and adaptability.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.

• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
