This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the rail and infrastructure portfolio.
• Enhance technical and methodological skills within the infrastructure domain.
• Analyze, optimize, and digitalize processes related to infrastructure planning, operations, maintenance, and control.
• Create business, process, and target models aimed at digital transformation in infrastructure and rail.
• Assist in the design and execution of technology and data solutions, including IoT, analytics, automation, signaling, and energy systems.
• Analyze and formulate organizational, governance, and operational models within the infrastructure sector.
• Contribute to the development of modern steering, monitoring, and management systems for infrastructure portfolios.
• Undertake project and sub-project management responsibilities in classical, hybrid, and agile environments.
• Prepare and lead workshops, training sessions, and change initiatives throughout the infrastructure value chain.
• Identify emerging topics, data-driven optimization strategies, and business opportunities in the infrastructure and rail industries.
• Collaboratively prepare decisions and create impact with the team.
• An excellent university degree (Master’s, MBA, or PhD).
• Over 4 years of experience in consulting, project management, or the infrastructure sector (planning, operations, or maintenance).
• Demonstrated expertise in infrastructure, technology, mobility, and digital transformation.
• Experience in analyzing and implementing domain-specific issues in infrastructure, operations, or maintenance.
• A structured, strategic, and conceptual mindset with a strong grasp of organizational, process, or operating models.
• Solid understanding of relevant consulting and project management methodologies.
• Confident collaboration with interdisciplinary teams from engineering, operations, procurement, production, and IT.
• Innovative thinking, initiative, a sense of responsibility, and readiness to travel based on project requirements.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, Prince2, Scrum, or ITIL.
• Proficiency in business German and English; additional languages are a plus.
• Knowledge of track systems, facilities, signaling technology, energy systems, and infrastructure system architectures.
• Experience with digital infrastructure models and data structures, such as GIS, LIDAR, BIM, asset and network condition models.
• Familiarity with modern infrastructure standards, life cycles, monitoring, predictive maintenance, and maintenance strategies.
• Experience in data-driven infrastructure solutions, reporting and transparency requirements, and complex digitalization or migration programs.
