
Senior Consultant – Organizational Change Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.
• Take charge of the change management workstream for intricate client engagements.
• Collaborate with Engagement and Project Managers to develop comprehensive OCM workplans and inventories of deliverables.
• Utilize Argano’s LIFT delivery methodology and customize change strategies according to client circumstances.
• Cultivate relationships with client business leaders, project sponsors, and functional stakeholders.
• Direct change management strategies and plans to enhance adoption, reduce resistance, and expedite proficiency.
• Perform change impact assessments and convert findings into actionable intervention plans.
• Create stakeholder analysis and engagement plans.
• Evaluate organizational readiness and modify plans based on identified risks.
• Guide senior leaders and executives to act as active, visible change sponsors.
• Prepare messaging for leadership, including talking points and facilitation support.
• Design and implement communication strategies, plans, calendars, and content across various channels.
• Assess communication effectiveness and refine strategies based on feedback and engagement metrics.
• Contribute to the training strategy, including design, development, and delivery.
• Develop or assist in the creation of job aids, quick reference guides, and sustainment tools.
• Enhance Argano’s OCM methodologies, tools, templates, and accelerators.
• Lead OCM capabilities within the community of practice and support colleagues.
• Mentor junior OCM practitioners and analysts.
• Foster client relationships that lead to growth opportunities and long-lasting partnerships.
• Provide OCM insights for proposals and business development initiatives.
• Engage in thought leadership and knowledge-sharing activities.
• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred; fields such as psychology, organizational behavior, communications, business, or HR are ideal.
• Prosci ADKAR certification or an equivalent change management certification is highly preferred.
• Additional relevant credentials such as CCMP, Kotter, LaMarsh, or similar are valued.
• Over 5 years of practical organizational change management experience on complex, large-scale transformation programs.
• Proven end-to-end OCM delivery capability, encompassing change strategy, stakeholder engagement, communications, training, and sustainment.
• Established experience working directly with senior executives in a coaching and advisory capacity for OCM.
• Strong understanding of change psychology, resistance patterns, adoption curves, and methodologies that facilitate movement from awareness to commitment.
• Demonstrated ability to establish and sustain relationships at all organizational levels.
• Experience in large-scale organizational change initiatives, including enterprise technology implementations, process transformation, restructuring, or post-merger integrations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Capability to influence without formal authority, manage ambiguity, and align diverse stakeholders towards a unified goal.
• Preferred qualifications include experience in enterprise technology implementation, instructional design and adult learning theory, stakeholder analysis and engagement tools, change readiness assessments, resistance management frameworks, experience across multiple industries, and leading a small OCM team or workstream of 4 or more individuals.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% to client locations.
