Senior Consultant, FedRAMP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee advisory and assessment projects

• Perform gap analysis evaluations

• Develop system security plans, policies, procedures, and other necessary documentation

• Assess evidentiary artifacts and determine their adequacy in meeting control requirements

• Record control test outcomes based on FedRAMP-established testing procedures

• Support the completion of the Security Assessment Plan, Security Assessment Report, and Risk Exposure Table

• Conduct interviews with stakeholders, engage in security boundary discussions, and perform control walkthroughs with clients to confirm control implementation status

• Deliver outstanding client service in information technology risk advisory

• Utilize knowledge of FedRAMP, GovRAMP, and NIST

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree

• Three (3) years of relevant experience

• A degree in cybersecurity, information technology, or information systems is preferred; equivalent experience is acceptable

• At least three years of experience in information security auditing, showcasing progressive skill and responsibility

• Familiarity with NIST 800-53 controls, FedRAMP requirements, and NIST risk management and security standards

• Practical experience in information security related to audit and compliance

• Preferred certifications include CISA, CISM, CISSP, GCED, GSLC, CCSP, CompTIA Cloud+, CASP+, or similar IT security credentials

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Demonstrated dedication to delivering exceptional client service (both internal and external)

• Ability to collaborate effectively across functions, departments, and teams while fostering trusted relationships and positively influencing others

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong analytical and innovative problem-solving abilities

• Effective time management and organizational skills; proven capability to prioritize tasks while managing multiple projects/processes under tight deadlines

• Willingness to travel as necessary, approximately 25%
