Senior Consultant, Advisory Services – Planning & Performance Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with clients to gain insights into their goals, priorities, and existing processes, while defining the scope and approach for advisory engagements.

• Lead workshops focused on planning processes, performance management strategies, and critical decision-making.

• Convert financial and operational data into valuable insights and actionable recommendations.

• Create and enhance budgeting, forecasting, and performance review processes.

• Develop and present roadmaps, presentations, and documentation for stakeholders.

• Provide guidance on StrataJazz PPM data structure, workflow design, and integration factors.

• Assist in information collection, process documentation, and coordination of deliverables.

• Support change management, communication efforts, training initiatives, and best practices for adoption.

• Manage timelines, milestones, and engagement activities effectively.

• Work in partnership with product, delivery, and account teams to ensure alignment on recommendations.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in healthcare finance, FP&A, performance management, or healthcare consulting.

• Proven ability to translate financial or operational data into significant insights and recommendations.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Experience in financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, or performance management.

• Capability to lead discussions, foster alignment, and communicate effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders.

• Background in process improvement, change management, or system adoption initiatives.

• Knowledge of financial principles such as financial statements, cost accounting, and service line reporting.

• Excellent organizational and project coordination abilities.

• Availability to travel within the U.S. as needed (up to approximately 35%).

• Experience within a health system FP&A or financial planning team.

• Background in healthcare consulting or advisory services.

• Familiarity with Strata's planning or performance management platforms.

• Experience in presenting insights using visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.

• Proficiency in SQL or other relational database systems.
