Senior NetSuite Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Oversee full-cycle NetSuite ERP implementations or significant functional workstreams, including discovery, process mapping, configuration, testing, training, go-live, and stabilization.

• Take ownership of project planning, status updates, risk management, issue resolution, decision-making, and functional deliverables in collaboration with clients and internal teams.

• Configure NetSuite to meet client needs across core financials and pertinent manufacturing or distribution processes.

• Evaluate current processes and suggest practical future-state workflows that enhance visibility, control, and efficiency.

• Convert business requirements into functional designs and coordinate with technical consultants or developers for any necessary customization.

• Handle multiple client engagements while maintaining scope, quality, timelines, and client expectations.

• Educate client teams and deliver documentation regarding configuration, processes, testing, and handoff.

• Assign tasks and mentor Consultant and Associate Consultant team members.

• Assist with managed-services and escalated client requests as necessary.

• Report to a Management Consultant or Principal Consultant.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical NetSuite functional consulting experience; experience with other ERPs alone is insufficient.

• Proven involvement in multiple NetSuite implementations, with the capability to lead an implementation or major functional workstream autonomously.

• Ideally, 3-5 completed end-to-end NetSuite implementations.

• Strong understanding of core accounting and business processes, including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and reconciliations.

• Familiarity with manufacturing and/or distribution functionalities, such as order management, purchasing, inventory, work orders, assemblies, WIP, or routing.

• Proven ability to manage client relationships, project priorities, documentation, and cross-functional communications.

• Capacity to work remotely and travel up to 25%, typically within Eastern and Central U.S. time zones, including flights and overnight stays.

• Experience in a NetSuite partner, consulting, or professional-services setting is preferred.

• Expertise in a specific NetSuite module, business process, or industry vertical is preferred.

• Experience mentoring junior functional consultants or coordinating a project team is preferred.
