Consultant, Power Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Develop and configure solutions utilizing Microsoft Power Platform, which includes Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, connectors, and associated technologies.

• Convert specified business requirements into functional and technical solutions within the Power Platform.

• Design, construct, test, and implement applications and automated workflows that fulfill business needs while adhering to established IT standards.

• Create application components, data models, integrations, and workflows based on approved technical designs.

• Generate and maintain technical documentation, which encompasses application designs, database schemas, integration documentation, and deployment documentation.

• Engage in technical design and code reviews, integrating feedback into the application development process.

• Diagnose application issues, user concerns, enhancement requests, and defects.

• Aid in application performance improvements, system enhancements, and approved architectural changes.

• Assist with software releases, deployments, installations, training, and ongoing application support.

• Collaborate with developers, architects, business analysts, project teams, and stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Identify technical risks and communicate potential issues, dependencies, and recommended solutions to project leadership.

• Adhere to established development, security, documentation, and quality standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.

• Six years of relevant professional experience in software development, application development, or related technical fields.

• Practical experience in developing solutions with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.

• Experience in building business applications, automated workflows, data solutions, and integrations.

• Knowledge of application architecture, databases, APIs, connectors, and software development practices.

• Experience in creating and maintaining technical design and system documentation.

• Experience in troubleshooting applications and providing support for production systems.

• Capability to comprehend business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.

• Ability to actively participate in design discussions, code reviews, and technical problem-solving activities.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Ability to work independently while also collaborating with technical and business stakeholders.
