This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.
• Take ownership of the compliance and certification function for healthcare products and the service organization.
• Evaluate the current state of compliance, pinpoint gaps, and develop a prioritized roadmap for certification.
• Establish the certification strategy and timeline for healthcare products and the service organization.
• Draft, revise, and uphold policies and procedures.
• Manage the flow of documents, approvals, signatures, and version control.
• Organize and conduct internal audits, and prepare for external certification and surveillance audits.
• Oversee audit findings and corrective actions until verified closure.
• Sustain existing certificates through annual audit cycles and renewals.
• Create a scalable, repeatable compliance approach that can be applied across multiple products.
• Utilize AI tools and agents to analyze new requirements, identify documents that require updates or re-signing, and minimize manual tasks.
• Collaborate with external audit and certification partners.
• Work closely with the compliance manager, internal product owners, and external audit partners.
• Dedicate approximately 70% of your time to certifying healthcare products and 30% to company compliance processes and maintaining existing certificates.
• Demonstrated end-to-end experience in developing a compliance system and successfully obtaining and maintaining certifications.
• Practical knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO 9001 standards.
• Comprehensive understanding of SOC 2, HIPAA, and GDPR regulations.
• Strong expertise in policies, procedures, evidence and document control, including approvals, signatures, versioning, and review cycles.
• Ability to think systematically to define sequences, priorities, dependencies, and create realistic plans.
• Senior-level ownership with a proactive approach.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Confidence in handling large volumes of documentation.
• Experience in both product and service companies is a plus.
• Product certification experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with the healthcare domain is a plus.
• Experience collaborating with external auditors or certification partners is a plus.
• Practical experience using AI tools or agents to automate compliance documentation tasks is a plus.
