This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Collaborate with the executive leadership teams of potential and current clients on compensation frameworks and practices.
• Provide education, exploration, and evaluation of compensation programs tailored for client enterprises.
• Advise on compensation strategies and initiatives that align with the objectives of client businesses.
• Assess pay programs and determine business goals, objectives, and performance metrics.
• Formulate compensation philosophies, performance management systems, as well as reward and incentive structures.
• Create designs for commission, sales incentive, bonus, spot, sign-on, referral, and retention programs.
• Assist in the allocation and implementation of merit-based pay.
• Perform analyses for pay equity.
• Guide clients on trends, best practices, and regulations related to compensation and total rewards.
• Act as a subject matter expert for internal teams, service providers, prospects, and clients.
• Conduct research on client companies, industries, and compensation inquiries.
• Develop tailored compensation services along with internal tools, templates, and methodologies.
• Prepare and deliver instructional materials and educational workshops.
• Collect client data, analyze information, and generate reports utilizing multiple internal systems.
• Stay informed about federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations.
• Coordinate with HR, DEI, EEO, Marketing, Legal, and other departments.
• Coach, mentor, and/or oversee staff.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related discipline is mandatory.
• At least seven years of experience in the compensation sector is essential.
• A minimum of one year of consulting experience in compensation at Insperity is required.
• Certification as a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) is mandatory (as specified under education/experience requirements).
• Certification as a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) is preferred (as noted under licenses/certifications).
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time is necessary.
