This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.
• Assist in the strategy, implementation, management, and ongoing enhancement of Total Rewards programs throughout Europe and India.
• Act as the main point of contact for benefits programs in designated regions, encompassing program management, employee assistance, and yearly renewals.
• Track benefits usage, gather employee feedback, conduct market comparisons, and review industry practices to pinpoint areas for program improvement.
• Oversee relationships with benefits brokers, insurance providers, and other service vendors.
• Facilitate Total Rewards integration efforts associated with mergers and acquisitions.
• Create employee communication materials and resources in collaboration with local HR Business Partners (HRBPs).
• Manage leave program operations across assigned regions and ensure adherence to local regulations.
• Analyze leave trends and advocate for process enhancements.
• Assist in global compensation activities, including merit planning, bonus distribution, promotions, and market adjustments.
• Offer compensation direction and assist with compensation-related decision-making in partnership with HRBPs and business leaders.
• Spearhead job evaluations and market benchmarking initiatives.
• Evaluate new and developing roles, aid in job leveling decisions, and formulate market-driven recommendations.
• Create tools, resources, and training to enhance stakeholder comprehension of Total Rewards programs.
• Ensure compliance with local compensation, benefits, and leave regulations, incorporating EU Pay Transparency requirements.
• Conduct regular audits and maintain documentation related to Total Rewards.
• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related discipline.
• Over 5 years of experience in Total Rewards, focusing on global benefits and compensation program management.
• At least 2 years of proven experience supporting benefits across multiple European nations and/or India.
• Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is mandatory.
• Experience in coaching and mentoring key stakeholders in Total Rewards.
• Comprehensive understanding of compensation principles, including pay structures, job evaluations, bonus schemes, and annual pay cycles.
• Proven ability to collaborate with HRBPs, Talent Acquisition partners, and business leaders with professionalism and credibility.
• Confidence in engaging with senior leadership.
• Strong business acumen and sound decision-making abilities to balance employee experience with business and budget considerations.
• Exceptional communication skills, capable of translating complex programs into clear, employee-friendly messaging.
• Strong analytical abilities with the capability to interpret data, identify trends, and generate insights to inform decision-making.
• High attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• A problem-solving attitude with sound judgment and the capability to handle sensitive discussions effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with HRIS and compensation tools is preferable.
