This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +11 more states.
• Oversee and implement commissioning activities throughout the design, pre-construction, construction, and post-construction phases.
• Create detailed Commissioning Plans and Specifications.
• Execute electrical and EPMS QA/QC inspection programs for intricate facility projects.
• Perform site visits, startup witnessing, functional testing, and integrated systems testing.
• Design startup forms, test forms, functional test scripts, and integrated systems test scripts.
• Manage the execution and witnessing of activities.
• Prepare, review, and distribute commissioning deliverables and project documentation.
• Develop inspection checklists, procedures, SOPs, and MOPs.
• Compile site-specific Systems Manuals and maintain Issues Logs.
• Collaborate effectively with General Contractors, MEP trades, inspectors, AHJs, consultants, and contractors.
• Lead commissioning meetings and coordinate cross-functional project teams.
• Schedule JLL and project team members while ensuring contractor adherence to requirements.
• Safeguard JLL's contractual position and ensure that work aligns with contracted specifications.
• Review commissioning design drawings, specifications, and submittals.
• Manage fee allocation, time, productivity, conflicts, and quality standards.
• Provide project status reports and analyze contractor schedule updates.
• Create, review, and assess training programs for installed equipment and systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• At least 10 years of pertinent MEP engineering and/or field-testing experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in building commissioning and/or construction QA/QC field services.
• In-depth knowledge of commissioning processes as per ASHRAE, CSA, and LEED standards.
• Familiarity with MEP equipment and systems installation, startup, pre-functional testing, inspections, and acceptance testing.
• Proficient in using electrical testing meters and equipment, including Power Quality Meters, thermography, NETA tests, ground tests, hi-pot, and megger.
• Experience testing utility transformers, UPS systems, generators, automated paralleling switchgear, ATSs, STSs, fuel oil systems, PDUs, EPMS, and electrical power generation/distribution systems.
• Skilled with calibrated testing equipment such as flow hoods, anemometers, pitot tubes, IR cameras, and various meters.
• Proficient in BIM360, CxAlloy, Facility Grid, MS Project, Word, and Excel.
• Strong capabilities in data management.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple project schedules and deliver status reports.
• Competent in analyzing and reporting on contractor and third-party schedule updates.
• Strong skills in fee, time, productivity, conflict, and quality management.
• Capable of developing, reviewing, and evaluating training programs for installed equipment and systems.
• Preferred certifications/designations include CEM, CBCP, CPMP, and/or LEED.
• Preferred to have PE or PMP certification.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required.
• Candidates must have authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
