Senior Collections Strategy Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Spearhead initiatives for collections strategy from the identification of opportunities to design, testing, launch, and continuous optimization.

• Establish contact timing, frequency, treatment sequencing, and segmentation across various channels including email, SMS/MMS, outbound dialing, and digital self-service.

• Convert strategic ideas into practical business requirements and cases for Product, Engineering, and Operations teams.

• Collaborate with Data Science, Client Management, Contact Center Operations, Product, Legal, and Compliance teams.

• Drive initiatives to production without relying on formal authority.

• Track delivery, engagement, payment conversion, and payment plan break rates.

• Enhance client scorecard performance and recovery results.

• Employ AI tools for hypothesis generation, research, and strategy formulation.

• Develop repeatable testing frameworks.

• Report directly to the Senior Director of Business Planning.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in consumer finance or lending.

• More than 5 years of specialization in consumer debt collections and collections strategy.

• In-depth knowledge of collection levers.

• Proven success in enhancing recovery metrics through channel optimization and segmentation.

• Capability to articulate complex issues and create evidence-based business cases.

• Working knowledge of FDCPA, Regulation F, and TCPA.

• Familiarity with champion/challenger testing methodologies.

• Experience with SQL/BI platforms such as Looker and Tableau.

• Knowledge of Jira.

• Willingness to work beyond standard business hours when required.

• Occasional local or international travel may be required.
