Advisor – Strategy & Business Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain key messaging for leadership meetings, town halls, discussions with customers or partners, and enterprise forums.

• Ensure consistent communication across leaders, audiences, and various channels.

• Create internal communications regarding strategic priorities, organizational changes, and significant milestones.

• Prepare pre-read briefs, concise issue briefs, decision memos, Q&A documentation, and materials to equip leadership.

• Direct strategic initiatives spanning Finance, Commercial, Operations, and additional functions.

• Define project scope, assign ownership, establish workplans, and set milestones; ensure accountability through regular check-ins.

• Identify dependencies, conflicts, and risks; escalate issues with clear options for resolution.

• Facilitate alignment across functions and ensure decisions are executed to completion.

• Provide progress reports to leadership through status updates and dashboards.

• Integrate financial, commercial, and operational data into actionable insights and recommendations.

• Assist in annual planning, quarterly business reviews, and goal-setting initiatives.

• Identify and structure urgent or undefined challenges.

• Support efforts related to transformation, integration, or reorganization.

• Act as a reliable thought partner and sounding board for leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, communications, or a related discipline is required.

• 4-8 years of experience in strategy, management consulting, corporate development, business operations, or in a chief-of-staff-type position.

• Proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives through effective influence.

• Experience collaborating directly with senior or executive leaders.

• Relevant industry experience, such as in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or distribution, is preferred or required.

• An MBA, master's degree, or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
