Director, Corporate Strategy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Develop the organization's long-term vision and propel growth through innovative technologies and mission-oriented solutions.

• Ensure alignment with Department of Defense and international customer security objectives.

• Lead the annual and quarterly strategic planning processes, including goal establishment and resource distribution.

• Conduct research, analysis, and provide recommendations to support strategic growth initiatives.

• Monitor trends in DoD acquisitions, funding pathways like POM cycles, and the competitive landscape.

• Evaluate disruptive technologies, emerging trends, innovations, and competitors to formulate growth strategies.

• Support segments with intricate capture strategies for significant programs.

• Identify growth prospects through investments, mergers & acquisitions, or strategic partnerships.

• Collaborate with Business Development, Government Relations, Engineering, and Business Strategy teams.

• Oversee executive and Board projects related to strategic planning, market analysis, R&D, and comparative studies.

• Formulate and execute corporate and business segment strategic growth initiatives.

• Lead and actively participate as a member of the Corporate Strategy team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field, accompanied by 10 years of relevant experience.

• Graduate Degree with 8 years of relevant experience.

• Alternatively, a minimum of 19 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.

• At least 10 years of leadership experience in defense, aerospace, or national security sectors.

• Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Proficient in MS-Excel and MS-PowerPoint.

• Strong project management capabilities.

• Solid financial acumen and familiarity with strategic frameworks such as SWOT analysis.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance.

• Preferred experience in Professional Services/Consulting.

• Preferred background in the aerospace and defense industry.

• MBA or currently pursuing an MBA is preferred.

• Experience in strategy consulting is preferred.

• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
