Senior Collections Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and oversee a portfolio of high-value, intricate customer accounts, spearheading the complete collections process.

• Actively communicate with customers through phone, email, and video calls to address overdue payments and disputes.

• Collaborate across departments with Sales, Customer Success, Legal, and Deal Desk to resolve billing and contract-related issues that affect collections.

• Escalate and navigate senior-level discussions with sales leadership and customer representatives regarding high-risk or high-value accounts.

• Ensure accurate forecasting of collections, aging reports, and records of cash applications.

• Identify and implement process enhancements to minimize Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and reduce bad debt exposure.

• Leverage Oracle and Tesorio (or similar platforms) to oversee workflows, monitor account status, and report on portfolio performance.

• Assist with month-end and quarter-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in collections, preferably within the SaaS, FMCG, or Financial Services sectors.

• Proven track record of engaging with senior sales management to resolve account-related issues.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence and professionalism to negotiate effectively.

• Demonstrated capability to independently manage a complex, high-value portfolio.

• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
